Summer might be ending, but things are only heating up for Taxi Life. We’re preparing to roll out our biggest patch yet — including support for consoles and steering wheels. Here’s a closer look at what’s coming in Patch #5.
Photo Mode
You asked, we delivered. Photo Mode is finally here. Capture the beauty of Barcelona, show off your taxi, and take cinematic shots of the city. Whether it’s sunsets, landmarks, or your customized car, the streets are now yours to frame.
Driving School Returns
Struggling with tricky maneuvers? Or maybe you just want to revisit the basics? With Patch #5, you’ll be able to return to driving school at any time to sharpen your parking, practice three-point turns, or simply enjoy knocking over a few cones.
Mouse Steering
A highly requested feature is making its way into the game. Mouse steering adds a new layer of accessibility and control, perfect for players who prefer a different way to handle their taxi. You’ll find it as a toggle option in the settings menu.
Immersive Driving – HUD and Center Dot Toggle
For players who want a fully immersive experience, Patch #5 introduces the option to disable both the HUD and the center dot. These options can be found in System Settings > Video > Presence of HUD.
Alternative Quick Look Features
Accessibility for quick looks has been improved. Players will now be able to choose between two modes:
Quick Look OFF
Right stick = free look
LB + right stick = quick look
Quick Look ON
Right stick = quick look
LB + right stick = free look
Choose whichever setup fits your driving style best.
Bug Fixes
Patch #5 also addresses several community-reported issues, including invisible curbs and pedestrians behaving incorrectly. Your feedback continues to help us improve the game, so keep it coming.
